After working with several top tech PR firms, CMP hired Atomic to help gain coverage and raise profile outside CMP publications. ComContext™ research helped pinpoint the issues, and Atomic embarked on a strategy which led to break out coverage for CMP Technology. We can't divulge all of it, but as a highlight, in 2006 Atomic suggested leading with "Green" as the theme for the 2007 ESC Silicon Valley conference, and secured Vice President Al Gore as the keynote. - Breakthrough coverage in business and mainstream media, including Bloomberg, BusinessWeek, Forbes (3 stories), Seattle Post-Intelligencer, and San Jose Mercury News, as well as spots on CBS and KRON 4 San Francisco among other broadcast outlets
- More than 800% increase in EE Times mentions in business, consumer and other mainstream publications, including CMP editorial and executive commentary on globalization and outsourcing, as well as coverage of groundbreaking surveys on US technical leadership and media usage
- 250% increase in total ESC Silicon Valley media coverage for 2007, and 100% improvement in coverage for ESC SV in 2006 over previous global PR firm's 2005 result
- 250% increase in total ESC Silicon Valley media coverage for 2007, and 100% improvement in coverage for ESC SV in 2006 over previous program from another PR firm. ESC Silicon Valley media coverage for 2007 included more than 400 print / online stories, including CNET, Salon.com, and San Jose Mercury News, more than 400 blog posts and 14 broadcast hits. Coverage also included positive stories in rival publications Electronic Design and EDN. CNET, EDN, EE Times, eWeek, San Jose Mercury News, PC Magazine. Each relayed Al Gore's message that "Embedded Tech Can Help Heal the Earth".
